Week 8: Life long learning!

Teacher resources:
Online tools and exercises creators provide many learning opportunities for our students.
These tools can be used in the classroom according to students' level, needs and target skills.
I will use most of these resources to create and teach my lessons. I will also train my students to use some of them for their projects as part of the ICT skills.
I wasn’t lucky with the ANVILL webinar because my internet connection broke down in the last minute. I’m sure I’ve missed a wonderful opportunity to interact with Jeff Magoto, Jodi and all my classmates. Still I’m glad for those who had the chance to follow the webinar. Congratulations everyone!
I liked most of what ANVILL offers to educators, especially live chat, Practice Recorder, Voiceboard, Forum, and TCast tools. I will try my best to benefit from all these options in the near future with my students as well as with colleagues in professional development sessions.
Creating a template for a handout, exercise, or a class site:
I explored most of the tasks and I opted for one!
I’ve created Google site for my class an here is the link to it:
It is going to be full of text, pictures, videos…soon! My students liked the idea very much. They even asked me to include their weebly portfolios links in the site. This is another motivating tool!
The Project Report :
I partnered with Sylvia and I started writing the first draft of my project report. It was very difficult to deal with all these tasks especially that we have a lot of work in our schools this week. Even so, I managed to post my report on time and also to review my partner’s.
I would like to thank Sylvia very much for her efforts to review my report and for her valuable comments!

  1. Hi Afa,

It was very nice to read about your students' reaction to your blog, as I have already visited it. I wish you further success with it.
Besides, I wanted to thank you for the nice chart right up here featuring Tacher's recauses. I like it.

    Best regards,

As for your site, it is a great job, though it needs to be worked at. Hope one day I create a site with my students, too!
Good luck with your project in Week 9!
